Hysteresis

17+25 /Perc.

A connection between D6+A13 on the ROM produces a warped suspended cymbal sample. The sample is hammered ten times to create a quickly staggered wave of warped cymbals. D0, D1+V and D5+G 'capture' each sample, looping them and reversing them at various speeds depending on where in the waveform each sample was. Since they were all slightly off, the samples are gradually scattered. Next, A12-17 + V 'freeze' the samples in place, causing them to loop on one subsection of the waveform. Combinations of connections between A12-17 + G change the timbre- from cymbal to drums to bells and more.
